about

.
The piece 'Noe's Lullaby' was composed by Mike Sole and David Dhonau in the early hours, after a night of furious, freeform improvisations and bacon sarnies, as the sun was beginning to peep over the terraced rooftops of Leicester's West End. It is the only Accortumn song to feature an accordion. Mike sang in a strange unknown language. A calm musical place.

‘Untitled’ was first improvised by Mike Sole, David Dhonau and Ola Szmidt, at The Looking Glass, Leicester in autumn 2007, prior to Accortumn actually existing. An attempt to record it properly the same night ended in giggling and bbqish chips. This version was made a few days later…

about

Accortumn UK

a trio of counter-sunk harmonies and dovetail tomfoolery embark on improvisational travels across leaves of the season's beauty. From encounters with people in the boil-in-the-bag, sadronic world of autumn to the birds that fly inland, when the weather gets a bit nippy.

Influences: autumn, accordions, warm overcoats and a nice cup of tea.
